BROWSER!........... A tool NATURAL -programmers cannot do without. Stop making your own browse-programs; just try BROWSER!

BROWSER! A tool for NATURAL developers they cannot do without. It allows them to easily browse their ADABAS files with a simple keystroke. Just type BROWSER at the command-line of your NATURAL session and a pop-up screen appears in which all the relevant information for the browsing action can be selected.

Based on DDM's which are available in the PC environment you can browse ADABAS data on every platform. Using the user friendly interface you can easily click to the details of a single record, periodic group or multiple value field.

Selection screen

Select the view and descriptor to be used, the fields you want to see and decide in what way the view has to be accessed. Hit continue and all information is directly presented.

List screen

Selecting one of the lines on the LIST-screen will give all detailed info of the selected record (the DISPLAY-screen).
There's also a possibility to transfer (download) the data to your PC!

You can chose to download your current screen-selection, a number of records, to end-of-file or all records in a tab- or comma-separated file.

System requirements:

BROWSER! is made for NATURAL-developers that use a windows-environment. Especially when developing or maintaining applications in a Single-Point-Of-Development installation BROWSER! will become the tool most often used.

The NATURAL level must be at least 5.1.1. pl 1.
The ADABAS level must be at lease 3.1.1.

When retrieving data from ADABAS nuclei located on other machines or environments ENTIRE NET-WORK is a prerequisite.
